Resolved Question: Why is my car on Motor Insurance Database (MID) while I haven't bought insurance yet?
I've just bought a used car for my son, received the new log book; however, I haven't bought insurance yet, as I intend to keep the car off road at the moment. But when I checked my car on the Motor Insurance Database (MID), it recognized my car. Apparently it is ok to drive this car, although I haven't bought insurance for it. Do you think this is ok, or will I be stopped by the police driving this car?

Resolved Question: Will a 25 hp outboard work on a 17' boat i'm rebuilding?
I have an older 17' boat that i'm rebuilding and need to put a motor on it. By law in i can have up to a 40hp outboard w'out having to buy liability insurance. But i keep finding good deals on 25-30 hp motors. would i regret just going with 25 hp outboard? Is it enough to get the boat to plane?

Resolved Question: If I have hearing impaired on my drivers license will it effect my insurance?
I live in the State of Maryland. I currently have a hearing aid only in my right ear. I spoke with the Motor Vehicle office here and they said I can get a notation on my drivers license that says I am hearing impaired. The notation will have no limits on my actual driving. However, would insurance companies increase my insurance if I have this notation on my license?

Resolved Question: My boyfriend was injured at our neighbors home and they dont have homeowners insurance what can we do?
My boyfriend was visiting the neighbor while he was working on his riding mower. I guess the carburator was messed up because it had pumped the block full of gas. The neighbor thought that it would be a good idea to take the spark plug out of the block and drain the gas but not enough of it was coming out so he had a battery charger hooked up and before my boyfriend knew what he was going to do , he hit the starter with the cables to turn the motor over in hopes of pumping the gas out and when he did it sparked and shot flaming gas all over my boyfriends legs and hands. He was sitting in a camping chair off to the side and didn't realize what the guy was going to do until it was too late. He had to be life flighted and was in the hospital for 4 days with 2nd degree burns and has to go back regularly. The neighbor has no homeowners insurance and draws a disability check. Are we left with no options? We don't want to take the guys house or anything.
