Voting Question: What should I do about my car?
i have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE Coupe and it has a lot of problems here are just a few: transmission in going out heater core is leaking power window motors are going out rust the car (body, motor, trans, etc.) has about 133,000 miles on it After I get my license I'm going to be going on country roads that are gravel roads and I was thinking of getting a truck problem is the cost and insurance, but i have a few months until i get my license so should i wait to sell my car or sell now and Kelley Blue Book (kbb.com) said my car is worth about $1,090 for Private Party Value so I was planning on selling it for like $1000 or so but I still won't have enough for a truck I like and that's the only car my mom has me listed on So i was wondering should I sell now and not be able to drive a car that I'm insured on or should i wait until after i get my license because I know my car won't last much longer (reason I know a friend of mine is a mechanic and he said i would be lucky if it was still running by the end of this year) so your opinions please i could get like 400 if i sold it as a parts car and i could get 1000 cuz of the idiotic people in our country like most on this site
